Sunday Lesson- 9/25/2011

This weeks wonderful lessons were on Scripture Study. What an important and vital principle for each of us to use in our daily lives. Whether you study specific topics, read stories that relate to you, or read the scriptures cover to cover; the scriptures will bring an added light to your life. When you think about those who have sacrificed so much for us to be able to have the scriptures, it brings an added sacredness to them. The early prophets who had to etch onto the gold plates, Moroni and Mormon who dedicated their lives to preserving the scriptures, and of course Joseph Smith who translated the scriptures for us.
All of these wonderful men gave so much for us to have them. These men knew the scriptures were something that would bless the lives of many. Lets all make a goal to read them more often and more diligently

This lesson goes perfectly with the following Personal Progress experiences...
Individual Worth value experience 1
Choice and Accountability value experience 1
Virtue value project

And last but certainly not least........we had a birthday last week!! Miss Kyler turned the ripe old age of 13!! Happy Birthday Kyler!!!
