Yesterday we learned about Following the Example of the Savior. In what ways are you followers of Jesus Christ when you are at home or at school? How can you better influence your friends and family to better follow the example of our Savior?

Take a look at your Personal Progress Book in Divine Nature. Value Experience #7 fits perfectly with this lesson. Make it a goal to accomplish this experience and come to church with what you learned. We are excited to hear how you are being an example of the Believers!!

Sunday Lesson 3/18/2012

What do you know about the Patriarchal Order?

Our fathers and father figures in our lives play very important roles. Heavenly Father has given him the responsibility for the spiritual and temporal welfare of his family. How well we respond to their roles is very important. Let us try to remember to sustain them in all that they do by getting to know them, being obedient, setting a good example for our siblings and seeking his advice and counsel. Don't forget to let them know of the appreciation that you have for them. They need to hear it!! Tell them that you love them. :)

As we prepare for General Conference, let us remember the divine role of our Prophet.

Sunday Lesson 03/10/2012

This past Sunday we had wonderful lessons on the importance of the priesthood in our lives. We talked about how we, as women, can support and sustain the priesthood brethren in our lives. Our role as women in this life is a very important one. We can have a great influence on those around us. Here is a short message from President Gordon B Hinckley on the effecst we as women can have. 

As a Young Women's presidency, we can testify of your strength. You are remarkable girls, and we see your spirit weekly. How you choose to effect others is up to you. Study and ponder your individual worth, and decide how you would like use divine potential. We love you and hope you have a great week. 

Remember there is NO Young Women's this Wednesday. See you Sunday!

As you do this, you will be an influence for good in helping to build the kingdom of God and prepare the world for the Second Coming of the Savior.

Will you do it?

This year we are introducing something new and exciting. We are challenging the youth of the Lebanon ward, to read the Book of Mormon cover to cover. Today we heard from the missionaries, our Bishop, and even our youth leaders on their thoughts on the Book of Mormon. What great examples they are to each of us. Lets follow their lead and start today!

Lets all try to be better. Lets accept this challenge and grow as individuals, as a youth group, and who knows maybe the town of Lebanon!! We as Young Women leaders testify to you, that if you read this book you will gain a greater testimony of the Savior. You will see Him in a whole new light. You will know with a surety that this church is true, and you will be better prepared to testify of this sacred book and our loving Savior.

We love each of you and cant wait to do this together!! So, hurry up...check your book marks and see what it is you need to read today!

Sunday Lesson 1/8/2012

Yesterdays lesson was on our Savior. We learned of the sacrifice He gave for us. Our Savior has given us so much, and in return is waiting for us to ask for His presence in our lives. Lets all start the new year with a greater desire and willingness to let Him in. Lets all take time to study Him and His teachings, so that we can be numbered as one of His friends.
